I knew someone who got wasted at a house party and dove headfirst into the shallow end of a pool. He's now a quadriplegic. I don't feel even slightly sorry for him....stupid decisions get shitty results.

There's a difference between being exciting and being fucking stupid. I enjoy skydiving. There's an inherent risk involved, but I'm working with trained professionals and the risk of injury is quite low.

Jumping off a building like the guy in the video is just fucking stupid. The risk of not making it far outweighs the rewards. I wish he wouldn't have made it. The world could use fewer idiots.

I guess this reply was mostly aimed at my post and yeah I agree. To be fair though I wasn't bothered to watch the video in the op, now that I have I can say unequivocally there is a difference between the daring and the stupid...

Why? Because it's not painful, and there aren't enough repercussions for acting stupid...nor are there enough penalties.

I firmly believe a nice forehead tattoo identifying the stupid, should be mandatory.
