Richard Pryor (rip)
Cedric the Entertainer
Bernie Mac

These guys just have an edge and honesty to me that other guys don't. Plenty of other guys make me laugh, but these 3 can make my stomach hurt.

Sarah Silverman has been funny recently too....

I like anyone who can make me lagh... so mine is all the comedians you guys knows...i don't have a clue

Richard pryor (biased pick)
George Carlin (best for 40 years)
Eddie Murphy (young eddie)
Eddie Izzard (dress to kill...funniest stand up show ever)
Sam Kinison (another biased pick)
Mitch Hedberg (loved the delivery)

There are more..but these come to mind.

Throw my response away. I did not know it was dealing with stand up comedians. How can you delete what you post? Can you?

i got to see lee evans live last year on his xl tour. he was outstanding. the man is so funny i had to buy the dvd when it came out just to see what i had missed while laughing at his other jokes. i also like peter kay, billy connelly and the bottom crew of rik mayal and ade edmunson. seeing jimmy carr soon. not to sure about him really. he's a bit too sarcastic for my taste but we shall see.

IMO George Carlin is a GOD and Numero Uno.
#2 Sam Kinison, whom i miss dearly.
#3 Richard Pryor, his concerts on HBO late nite was worth staying up for and getting in trouble over.
#4 Robin Williams. #5 Eddie Izzard is friggin hilarious, i want his DVD's that were just re-released. #6 John Larroquette, not really a stand-up guy but i loved this guy on Night Court #7 Andrew "Dice" Clay
I cant really pick too many favorites because i love everything from Laurel & Hardy to WC Fields to Jack Benny to Richard Pryor to the Blue COmedy Tour to....well, we all have a lot of people/things that make us laugh but somehow we all come back to the ones who make laugh the hardest. :D

Pretty much like the same as me if you look at my starting post in the thread. So going on this I don't think you'll like Jimmy Carr, now I'm not saying don't go and see him.Because you should to make your own mind up,but when I went to see him I walked out and had been that bored for 2 hours I was going to ask for my money back till my brother grabbed me.

But like I say go see him yourself and make your own mind up,there maybe something you find funny in him. After all I know a lot of people who think he's great.
