I personally like Jeffrey Hunter. King Of Kings is one of my favorite movies.

Passion was really good. I'm prejudiced, of course, as a former christian, but I thought the movie did an excellent job of showing jesus' concern was other-worldly and not domineering as so many christian sects/denominations have used his personal ethos as a goal to be achieved by force rather than by reason.
