yeah I agree,
I've watched many documentaries and interviews on serial killers.
ramirez killed for pleasure, he was a sadist and a pervert, even killed kids.
Dahmer just seemed like a lost soul. his childhood was normal, he just had a terrible sickness in his brain.
ted bundy, now theres a complicated person.
he was sick yes, but things from his childhood and youth combined with his sickness made him want to kill women. Its just amazing how no one knew, he gave no indication at all that he was a killer or even strange, which actually helped him get so closeto most of his victims.
most killers had a problem they were born with in their genes or something, combined with their upbringing.
Dahmer was just sick, neither parent had any history of abnormal behavior or abuse.......it was all just something inside him, science can't even really explain it.
I found this explanation from Dr Park Deitz to Richard Kuklinski of why he is what he is very interesting

I got the same impression about Dahmer when I first heard about him when I saw Larry King interviewing his parents on CNN, they spoke more about him than the crimes and my initial thought was that he was mentally ill. After the show I looked him up and was surprised about how many he killed and all the cannabalism that I don't think Larry King even asked about. He was declared sane at the trial and even expressed remorse after he was convicted, something an insane person could not have done. He was sick but sane enough to know what he was doing, he needed to have himself committed when he first felt these homocidal tendencies. Even more shocking is this incident with the police that could've stopped his killing spree much earlier
In the early morning hours of May 27, 1991, 14-year-old Konerak Sinthasomphone (by coincidence, the younger brother of the boy whom Dahmer had molested) was discovered on the street, wandering naked, heavily under the influence of drugs and bleeding from his rectum. Two young women from the neighborhood found the dazed boy and called 911. Dahmer chased his victim down and tried to take him away, but the women stopped him.[30] Dahmer told police that Sinthasomphone was his 19-year-old boyfriend, and that they had an argument while drinking. Against the protests of the two women who had called 911, police turned him over to Dahmer. They later reported smelling a strange scent while inside Dahmer's apartment, but did not investigate it. The smell was the body of Tony Hughes, Dahmer's previous victim, decomposing in the bedroom. The two policemen did not make any attempt to verify Sinthasomphone's age and failed to run a background check that would have revealed Dahmer was a convicted child molester still under probation.[31] Later that night, Dahmer killed and dismembered Sinthasomphone, keeping his skull as a souvenir.
