I think it would be interesting to know at which time you start (normally) working.

I´ve used the search button and haven´t found a thread like this !!

6 AM is my "working-start" since years. Thanks no shift!! :nanner:

explained to detail :D

The worst place for hours that I ever worked had people go 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 3 days off and then you would repeat. We would work from 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am, and every time you went back to work from a few days off you would switch the time you worked so it was like having a 12 hour swing shift every 2.5 days. It wore people down a lot, and you had to keep your schedule posted just so you could remember when you were supposed to work. We worked those days no matter what, no holidays or anything off, ever. If it was your time to work on Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, Easter, Labor Day or the 4th of July or any other holiday, too bad you worked anyhow. It was hard to plan for anything months in advance. Because they had a group of lazy people that they didn't want to get rid of some of us even got called in on our days off all the time when they were “sick” or just didn’t feel like coming in, especially me because they knew I would do a good job. So my reward for doing my job was more work.

I work from 5pm to midnight thru the week with friday off and work 9am to 5pm on saturday.I used to work those odd hours, so many on so many off and it was third shift. Hated that shit, i had to write down the friggin schedule on a calendar just so i wouldnt get fucked up anymore than i already was working those crazy hours.

0530 - Report in and go over plans for the day
0630 - Reveille and PT
0745 - Released to shower and eat
0850 - At the office to do whatever needs to be done that day, training, paperwork, deployment prep, equipment maintenance and cleaning or barracks cleaning and area beautification/maintenance
If we are lucky
1130 -1300 Lunch break, usually only get 30 minutes or less though.
1300 - Continue whatever was being done earlier
1530 - More PT
1630 - Final formation for the day
1700 - Retreat
1700-1830 - Depending on how much more time they want to take up, sit around and wait for final briefing and then go home.

That is the closest there is to normal for a duty day, exluding field training excerises, ranges or any missions we come across.
