Before he withdrew from his presidential campaign in '07, he gave one of the more honest answers I've ever heard any politician give about the immigration issue (it can't be simply fixed, bumper sticker thinkers are stupid, you can't throw the doors open, nor can you bus everyone back - you have to try everything, much of it won't work, and someone will always be unhappy).
Joe can stick his foot in his mouth, over and over, and come away from it unscathed. While Trump can do that, he doesn't have the big smile, and the affability. Biden, once his party's provided him a platform to run on and a script, would make a strong challenge to Trump in 2020.
Right now, he's an out of work car salesman that used to think Obama was an "articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy".

On this very board, I was criticized for making the point that it was politically savvy of her to do that, that she'd get invites back to these shows (they want her tits, she gets her message out).
