Which democrat has the best chance against President Trump in 2020?

Democrat Strategist A: "You ask him."

Democrat Strategist B: "I asked the last one. Look, if we're going to win, we're going to have to give the people what they want, and WaPo tells me they want Bernie."

Democrat Strategist A: "But we already have a Bernie!"

Democrat Strategist B: "And with two, we can win!!!"

Democrat Strategist A: "Yeah, if we can get them to vote, and not just pontificate, sanctimoniously."

Democrat Strategist B: "One problem at a time."

You must be attempting to illustrate that word you used earlier... indecipherable. You nailed it. Any other thought vomit in there you need to get out? Any other make believe scenarios you want to pretend actually happened, and by Democrats? Ground control to Major Tom...

you're not debating the issues...and making personal attacks as rebuttals

No, dumdum - that's forward-looking. I think the Democrat party is so clueless, conviction-less, and only concerned about holding the reins of power (and not actually bettering the nation, with them in hand) that they'll double-down: "You like the Tasmanian Devil, when he pops into Bugs Bunny cartoons? Well shit, we'll give you all Taz, all the time!" They don't know what to do, because nothing guides them - they don't believe in anything.

Their "strategists" are Donna Brazile, for Christ's sake. Talk about a great big ol' bucket of stupid. You're in the right party :)

Because you are the symbol of wisdom? These 2020 Democratic hopefuls released statements on Omar's Israel remarks.

When you have two radical islamist and antisemitic people such as Tlaib and Omar in the democrat party, you should really question how tolerant is the so called party. And any party who sides with islamists of any kind is hardly the defintion of tolerance

Yes, I am the symbol of wisdom.

As long as racists Steve King and Donald J. Trump are in the GOP, you have no room to talk, Trumptard Muppet.

Sounds like Joe's "95% in", and already the Dems face a conundrum - old guard, that has a realistic shot at winning, or fresh-faced (if snaggle-toothed) empty-headed loudmouths like AOC that are guaranteed to lose.

Says the Obama muppet n°1 , so when a person is for closed borders, stands for the constitution of his country and its flag, is anti Obama and anti Democrat, he is automatically labelled as a racist, such a poor baseless rethoric.:lame::bs: Another great sign of the so called left tolerance. No, you aren't the symbol of wisdom otherwise you would have denounced since the start the fact that Tlaib and Omar which are both the worst antisemitic scum are in the democratic party but yet don't view their antisemitism as a problem when in fact it is a serious one. Typical democrat double standards.

Trumptard Muppet.

Wow, that whole "I have a reasoned argument, and I'm not here to angrily hurl insults at people" thing - you were just full of shit when you said that, then?

Your party needs to be better at modeling the way for you, honey.

He's still the President. He will be when you get out of bed tomorrow, too. Let it go, sugar. Let go of all this anger. You're right to blame yourself for not voting when you had the chance - but now you just sound like an asshole, railing against the reality that you can't abide. What you need to do is start looking at how you'll get it right, next time, and quit blaming everyone else. Quit attacking, baby.

And for God's sake, if you can't stay on point in a thread, don't jump in the thread (please?).

All these, honey's and sugar's certainly align you with Lindsey Graham (and others), though you certainly seem to be out of practice. It's understandable that you rage at, "the left", seeing the train coming and all. What would you know about anyone, "not voting"? Certainly seems you have some sort of inside insight, but I doubt if you're articulate enough to elaborate. Nay, I know you aren't.

All these, honey's and sugar's

Are the manner in which, I've been told, you're to address the emotionally unstable, and potentially dangerous (don't wanna get Scalised!).

It's understandable that you rage

I usually let your falsehoods pass by (honestly, I kind of have to, owing to the volume), but this one bears calling out. I'm not the one with the exclamation points and the ugly insults, and you're throwing them at everyone. I genuinely think you could be dangerous, in a tantrum-y way. Guys like that got smashed in prison, inside of a month or two, to get them in line, and keep the peace. It's sad to see them come in that way, because you know what has to happen for them to grow up. Maybe I'm reading you wrong, and you're just pretending to be that hostile.

"What would you know about anyone, "not voting"?

Well, I don't know if you voted (or could, for that matter), and you didn't speak to it.

I know I voted (thank you, civil rights restoration, and probably, by extension, the left). There were Democrat voters who stayed home, or didn't mail in their ballots, or whatever, believing flawed polls, and lazy, hopeful, left-leaning journalists. You all got the shock of a lifetime, and it still makes me laugh, when I picture Dems actually crying that night, honest to God. Caught in their arrogance, and now, obstructionist in their butthurtedness (spellcheck took it).

Like Richard Sherman, when Russell Wilson threw that interception to Malcolm Butler. I laughed like a GD baby, that time!

If Democrats weren't so damn retarded, I would say Tulsi Gabbard.
She's the only Democrat I would vote for, but with things being what they are - probably Kamala because she's a black woman and Joe Biden because of all that big money and the Dems needing to get back to the center.

Joe's the one I think the White House doesn't want to see run. He won't fluster when Trump is breaking his balls, he's a smart guy, and he's well spoken (he does eat his foot, sometimes, but he always survives it). The Dems would have to pair him with someone from their "loudmouth ninny" caucus (Omar and OAC are far too young and stupid for that, but someone in that vein), and draft a centrist platform that nonetheless appeases Bernie's contingent.

It's a formula for a good bout, if all Mueller's going to be turning up are people's falsified loan applications and personal tax evasions. And it sure as Hell looks like that.

"Hey all you that are even tangentially involved with the Trump campaign/White House, we'll be crucifying you for your petty foibles, because we can't hang an actual scandal on the guy in the White House that we hate so much. We'll use the machinery of government to try and turn back the results of an election we botched. Yay, mid-terms! Vote Democrat in 2020!"

No wonder no one wants to stay in/get in politics, when your entire back catalog is at risk of being aired and exploited for political purposes.

The Democrats are sad to watch, as a collective. On a day when they should be on top of the world, their party is imploding because they can't keep their children, as it were, quiet in the restaurant. "Ilhan, hon'? It's Nancy. Could you just shut the fuck up? And you're friends with Alexandria, right? Would you pass it on? Thanks, peaches."

@Dolphin:
Joe Biden is a threat because he's been in the game so long, he knows the game and has a vast amount of experience.
He has no real ideology and will side with wherever the wind is blowing.
He's a good looking guy, he's charmer that can get some of that working class back, he has clout with them.
He also has BIG money behind him and the establishment.
Joe's biggest problem is that he has to defend Obama's 'legacy', the annoying progressives, and his creepy behavior with little girls.
His VP will probably be Kamala.

Pretty sound assesment - I don't know much about Kamala, just that she was a dirty prosecutor, and I fucking hate those. Not prosecutors, but crooked, lying, dirty prosecutors that deny defendants justice, then mug for the camera, tough on crime, so they can run for higher office one day. Looks like it's working out for her.

I think your instincts are correct (if you're thinking that they'll want to pair him with a woman - I agree). It'll be very interesting to watch. I'm quite in agreement with you about Biden - he doesn't seem to be the same kind of deep state slimy that Hillary is, just a night clerk at the Marriott. Entirely inoffensive, if gaffe-y.

I agree.
For VP I'm thinking Brown, Beto or Klobuchar
I don't think Harris would be a great VP choice. If you get elected choose her for AG, maybe.

PS: My wife remains very bullish about Brown being the best choice. I tend to agree. We think he'd give Trump all he could handle. A pretty traditional liberal. A popular guy with blue collar folks in a critical red state. She thinks there's plenty of time, if and when he commits, for him to put together a real challenge against Biden and the gang. I'm not so sure. It may be that essentially all Biden has to do is declare to get the nod.
