Lynch's voice is really soothing. If I had to pick anyone to read kids books, it'd be him.

I dont know about that, he does have a relaxed way of speaking which when listened to is relaxing. But his tone is a little weird. I would have to wonder whether or not that would alarm the kids :1orglaugh.

There are so many 'English' accents it's impossible to pin one down. Beckinsale has a posh southern accent, much like many of the acting-school English actors you guys see have - Rhona Mitra, for example, also has the same sort of accent. But pretty much every town and city has a completely different accent. I'd say England has as many different accents as all of the USA, despite being about half the size of Rhode Island, if even that.
