I loved a sci-fic show in 90s but i couldn't remember its name. Whole story was taking place in 1990s, 2500s and 3000s. The world in 1990s was what we had. In 2500s, there was a devastating war and in 3000s, civilisation was in peace. Girl from 3000s was trying to save the world in 1990s from the warriors of 2500s. I loved that show a lot.

Currently the Reimagined Battlestar Galactica - great acting, great writing, superb special effects (the only space show to actually recognise Newtonian physics?), fantastic camera work.

Also liked Heroes, but I'm a bit nervous about series 2 that's starting here in the UK this week... the US has a tendency to flog an idea to death (like Lost).

I never got beyond episode 1 of the new Bionic Woman - really poor. She's a terrible actress, I reckon we hit the jackpot when we got her to piss off to America, she was awful in Eastenders.

voyager was kind of weird: it's set in the "good" TNG universe (nice ships, uniforms, politics, etc), and the show had so much potential (a ship far away from the known universe, they could have done ANYTHING with that setup), but they did nothing with it. practically every episode was either a rehash of something another trek show had done before, or it was just a standard crew-has-problem-but-solves-it-by-the-end-of-the-episode-reset-to-normal-for-next-week thing.

enterprise just flat out sucked, entire episodes of women rubbing cream on themselves, and scott bakula would have made a fine number one but he is not a captain. no presence, no command authority. and the whole prequel thing sucked too since it changed so many things we thought we knew about the trek universe. and the whole xindi thing? that would have been a two-parter on TNG or DS9.

I don't know how old you are but I find that people who were exposed to TOS first seem to have an affinity for it. I was born decades after that show premiered. I like Next Generation and Voyager but for me DS9 was the best. The continuing story,the actors, the set, the realness of the characters and the introduction of the Dominion I feel made it greatest of all time.Maybe Namreg feels the same.:2 cents:
