Favorite domestic ****: Budweiser (King of Beers....what more needs to be said?)

Favorite domestic dark: Shiner Bock (Delicious and satisfying....***** one and you'll want another....and another....and another....)

Favorite Micro brew: Blue Moon Wheat (simply awesome...full bodied but finishes clean with no aftertaste)

Favorite Mexican ****: (tie) Dos Equis Lager and Pacifico (yummmmm!!!! What flavor! Muy delicioso!!! Negra Modelo is a close second.....)

Favorite Canadian ****: Molson Canadian with LaBatt's Blue a close second.

Favorite English ****: Newcastle Brown is terrific. I'm not into heavy stouts so a lighter but flavorful ale like Newcastle fits the bill for this Yankee. Also like Old Speckled Hen when I can get it. Boddington's is cool as well.

Favorite Danish ****: Carlsberg .....What a jolt!! Wow!

Favorite Dutch ****: Heineken (what else?)

Favorite German ****: Grolsch (Great body and flavor)

Hmm... I'd say Urthel Triple Ale, the Quad's killer too but very strong (belgium)
Rhenania Alt or Sion Kolsch (german)
Newcastle, Samuel Smith Tadcaster or anything by Wychwood (english)
Murphey's Stout (ireland)
Estrella (spanish)
Sierra Nevada or Rogue (US)

There's loads of good real ales around where I live, they are absolutely unbeatable for taste, so when I'm not on the spirits, I try and stay off the commercial ****. Suffice to say they make Newcastle Brown taste like **** in comparison :tongue:

But:
If I had to ***** a Lager (which I don't like doing often) it wouldn't be draught, it'd be Perroni Nastro Azzuro (which I think they pretend is from Italy, but is probably brewed in the UK) or maybe Budvar (which again they like to pretend is all Czech and quirky, but is as commercial as your regular Budweiser).
And good for falling down is Leffe - I prefer the blonde stuff...

It's lemony taste was very different when I first tried it, and just grew on me....
