Since there have been a rash of comic books turned into live-action movies for the last couple of years. I was wondering what's everyone favorites. Here's some of mine....
1. Spider-Man 2 - Spidey was always my many favorite superhero, and I thought this movie was a much better improvement from the first one. Doc Ock was much more faithful to the comic verison, and was over the top as Green Goblin was in the first movie.
2. Daredevil - I still can't seem to understand why this movie didn't do too well. I liked it, and have new respect for Bullseye after seeing this movie.
3. X-Men - My all time favorite comic, and I'm glad the movie did it justice. Hugh Jackman was born to be Wolverine!!
4. X-Men 2 - A nice follow-up with the introduction of Nightcrawler. I'm still waiting for Gambit though.
5. Batman 1 - Untill I see the upcoming Batman Begins, this will always be the best Batman flick IMHO.
6. The Punisher - No, not the crappy one that came out in the 80's. Punisher is still to this day one of my favorite comic characters. Because he's a normal guy with no superpowers whatsoever.
7. Blade 2 - I haven't seen the first Blade movie, so I'm ranking this one.
8. Hulk - Can't understand why this one didn't do so well either. I'm guessing more people saw the 70's tv series than read the comic, and were expecting such. To me, the movie was a hundred times more faithful to the comic than the tv series was.
Well, that's all I can think of at the moment. Fo now, here's some of my other favorites and hopefuls.
Spider-Man 1 - Would've been one of my favorites if it wasn't for Green Goblin looking like something from Power Rangers.
Hellboy - Hopeful, since I have yet to see it.
Batman Returns
Batman Begins - Since they're taking the next Batman movie back to the dark & gothic look of the first two, I'm looking foward to this one.
X-Men 3
Blade 3
