What Software Media Player Do U Use ?

I'm guessing we all have our 'little' stashes of adult video on our hard-drives. But what's the best media player out there ?

I have XP so of course I have WMP.. But.. (gripe).. WMP does not allow the setting of repeat points, so that a particular segment of playback is repeated over and over.. (major gripe..)

Anybody has a player that does this with wmv.. mpegs.. avi etc ??

What's everybody using these days ??

Ah.. But who has a player that allows you to set up repeat points ? You know.. Set a point "A" where you want to start.. and set point "B" where you want to stop.. and repeat play over and over between A & B. In other words.. endlessly repeat a smaller section of a scene ? (I'm sure we'd all find that feature "useful" for our "little Stashs" lol).

That's what I'm after. Anybody got a (preferably) free player that does that ??

GOM also easily repeats segments. Although it was crashing on my 98SE machine. :o

Thanks for the heads up. I found out that GOM is quite well regarded. Your crashes are probably due to your system still operating under 98 SE. 98 was a pretty sound version of Wndows. Please consider updating to XP if you can tho'. GOM will thank you for it. And whatever you do.. do not be tempted to Windows Vista !! Horrible thing. Have you noticed that Windows updates alternate between good (98, XP), and awful (2000, Vista) ? I'm waiting for the next one before I consider changing from XP. Thanks again.. and good luck to you.

Do either of the players mentioned have a zoom feature? I tend to edit down clips that I don't want bits of, but I can't find a free player that allows repeat and zoom. Well, VLC has a zoom, but it's a fiddly bastard.

Well I'm no KMplayer expert (I've only had it a couple of days so I don't know its full capabilities..) But I've just found a "frame" increase or decrease function under the "pan & scan" sub menu of the "play" function. Pressing the "+" key on the number pad allows you to zoom in of the selected frame. It's the whole frame, not a selected point of the frame. This may be of use to you. Also I think I have seen a "zoom" option somewhere in one of the submenus, but I didn't check it out. You could download kmplayer and have a looksee for yourself. It may have what you're looking for. There's no manual, so it's a case of play with it yourself to learn what it can or cannot do. Unless a more experienced kmplayer user can point u in the right direction. Hope this helps u a bit..

Any suggestions for a good player for MAC?

I use Quicktime, but then use a plugin called Flip4Mac which flips WMV files into Quicktime, which I think works much better than using Windows Media Player.
