Substitute "Paris"or "Britney" for "Crissy", and would you say the same things about a public figure you didn't have a personal connection to?
Isn't the whole public arena thing about being "fair game" for others to talk and gossip about, and have unasked opinions bruited about?
Sorry to the people who seem to care on a more human, person to person level, but those who want to discuss their ideas and thoughts on "Porn stars Turned capital C Christians" are no different than anyone who has given an opinion on someone they didn't ever have a personal relationship with; ie, President Bush, Lindsey Lohan, PM Blair, Paris Hilton, etc.
And I'm sure those people have friends who were offended by what others said about their buds, but once you enter the public limelight, all that comes with the experience is yours, including public discussion about you by the public.
While I may not have anything to say specific about Crissy Moran, I might want to comment on conversions after instead of before good or bad times...religion that happens like an afterthought instead of a long held conviction.

When did I say I have something against strippers are whores? I don't, I like them and that's why I'm here. I DON'T have respect for somebody that blows all of her money and starts asking for charity on her myspace page. This has nothing to do with not liking pornstars, and I'm a very magnanimous person, I always donate to charities, real charities.

However, are you seriously suggesting that the main reason she came on to Freeones was NOT to advertise herself and her site to get people to sign up to said site to gain monies off of them?

Let me put it another way. Nightfly typed to me that Crissy Moran ran two sites that had (according to him) over 1,000 members each. Now even with full rev sharing, that means she was making at least 10-12 dollars per person, per month. That equals at least $12,000 per site. Or around $25.000 per month.
Now I realize that is not net profit.
But the fact is that her sites were generating a substantial amount of money. Money that is now going to whomever is running them.
Now if she is such a great Christian. Then why does she not take over those sites, keep the funds she needs to survive and then give the rest to charity? That money could save dozens or even hundreds of AIDS babies in Africa. Surely that is more important then her principles.
And she would not have to pose for another photo again.
The site is obviously continuing without her and she is not posing for any more pictures. Would it not be better that she/charity gets that money then someone else?
And I am NOT typing this so that I can see more nude photos of her. Though I do find her very physically attractive.
I think she went too far in her decision and I simply am stating as such and trying to gauge the thoughts of those on Freeones about it.

BTW OCSM means Officially Checked Star Member. Meaning that Freeones has checked to try and make sure that when Crissy Moran typed that she is posting that it is actually her and not someone else.
But you shouldn't call her a whore. I do not know her personally. But I am almost positive that she would not like it.
And we should care about her because she is a fellow human being; no more or less important then you or I.
I think I get your point. And I believe you meant no harm. But maybe you could have typed it a bit different to avoid people jumping on you. Ms. Moran was VERY popular around here at one time.

But you may wish to remember that it's usually the male producers who name those boxes, not the actresses.
And like I typed, Ms. Moran built up quite a fan club around here way back when. People are understandably more touchy about people they know then those they do not.
And it's probably not a good habit to get into, calling adult entertainment industry types, 'whores'. You never know. You may find herself chatting with a 'stripper' one day and out the 'w' word pops. That would probably not go down too well.
After having catched up on her blog, the only apparent thing I can think of that she really needs to do is forgive herself. Ultimately, that's the only one who can, and the only one that truly matters. Guilt (or sin) is a waste. If you're human, you'll make mistakes. The trick is to understand why you did it, what you could've done, and learn from it. Then let it go. Until she has done that, I don't think it will matter what she does.
If God is even half as nice a person/entity as Christianity claims (or various factions within it at least), I'm sure he wouldn't mind if she stopped punishing herself for what she has done and instead go on and be happy for what she has learned and for what she will do. What that is, well, that's up to her. She should do whatever makes her happy, whatever that is.
Of course, given that I'm basing all of this on various entries in a blog and that I don't know her nearly well enough (which is to say, at all) to even make an educated guess, I could be wrong. Still, even if I'm wrong about her, there's plenty of people in such as situation.
