What Politician Do You Wish Would've Ran (or Won) the US Presidency?

Just curious if anyone championed an American politician in the past who either did run or should've ran for the highest office?

For me it would be Patrick J. Buchanan. America would be a much better place if the good Mr. Buchanan would've won. :hatsoff:

Not really on topic but I wish they would remove the term limit so we could get Clinton back.

As for the topic though, I really like Giuliani when he first emerged as a presidential candidate, but he came off as not convicted enough through the debates, and he waggled a bit on some issues.

Actually, I think condoleezza rice could do some pretty good things.

I think Petraeus might make a good future candidate if he ever decides to run - even though I believe he says he has no plans to.

I've also always wondered what the country might be like if Hamilton ever got into power. Having read Ron Chernow's quite excellent biography on him, you get the feeling that he was one of the great forgotten political minds of his generation.

Then there's always Bobby Kennedy.

She did well on The Daily Show yesterday. Now that the stress level in her life has decreased exponentially, she seems much more laid back and pleasant. I might consider picking her book up. I hear it's a pretty good read.
