Hey....I own a cavalier. And it is definitely no piece of crap. And mine is a 2002 with just a 4 cylinder.
Actually, I don't really care if you call it a piece of crap.

But, it cost me about $200 US/month - taxes in - leased (brand new) for four years. It has air, auto, 4 wheel ABS, traction control, CD, tilt, P. door locks, keyless entry, very good gas mileage and plenty of room for me (and I'm 6'1" tall). Not bad for under $200 U.S. a month.
It definitely AIN'T my dream car (and I've owned 3 Corvettes - 1 a ZR-1). But it's great for me for now.

I drive a 1981 VZ XD Ford Fairlane 5.7ltr V8 Auto... Was top of the range when it came out.... It needs a little body work, but other then that, it runs just like new.... I have had it for about six years... I bought it for $1700 which is an absolute bargain... The previous owner brought it brand new and clocked up just 90,030kms (just over 50,000 miles) when he died.... I purchased it from his daughter...

I really should upgrade, but I cant bare to part with the old beast!!!

Wife: 1992 Toyotta Corolla

We are looking at replacing the Escort later this year. The Corolla needs a little body work and a little engine work to stop an oil leak. But we plan on keeping it for a couple of more years.

I believe in buying cars and running them into the ground. I'd say we accomplished this with both these vehicles.

I used to own a Mk3 Polo! They may not be the curviest of cars, but they do at least have some character to them (even if it does make your friends laugh!). Is yours one of the classy models with the black plastic trim around the rear window?

Anyhoo, my current car is a '98 Hyundai Accent LSi. It's as exciting as that.

Mine is a V6 4-door 4x4 with a 5spd MT. Infinity QX4 front end, new VQ35DE motor dropped in, and she's lifted 3.5" w/ the camber kit, and a new tranny and and and an AEM stand alone hooked up to my laptop. White on black with chrome 20's on Yokohama Geolanders.

My wife drives the EVO VIII, it's the grocery getter/baby hauler. AMS stage II turbo kit/intercooler (GT35/40R) with head work done by Apex machine works in Arlington Heights IL. Ferrara valves/spring/retainers, Eagle rods, and to top it all off, Ross 8.7:1 pistons. Dark Blue with the standard black interior, it's my baby that my baby takes are baby in. Apex-I AFC and ITC with a modified MAF sensor, EGR, and E-PROM.

God Damn I love cars. I named my 'lil girl Mercedes, and when she's older her first car will be an S500.
