nope. no rich parents for me and not a drug dealer. i got the bike from a friend that was injured in an accident on it. it was a salvage ride that i restored for next to nothing from other donor bikes. the '08 sierra is being financed so its not totally mine yet. the other 3 cars were my first 3 cars. werent pretty things. rust buckets. just cant seem to get rid of em.

plus i work as a heavy equipment operator that pays very well.

I see.

Apparently, my mistake.

Love the bike, though the only p/u's I like are the regular cab variety; though each to their own.

regular cab trucks are awsome plow trucks. you see lots of them up here. easier to see out the back window then a extended or crew cab

I owned a '72 Cougar XR-7. I really liked that car. A true luxury, muscle car. Well, semi-luxury.

I'm using... a bicycle.

I never had my drivers liscences. I might be one of the rare man alive who doesn't have a car fetish

''car fetish'' ? Are you lashing out at us dawn ? :D Is that some kind of derogatory, smart ass remark ? :flame: I'm kidding, Dawn. :1orglaugh

I think that that most men own a personal vehicle out of necessity. Even if you reside in the interior of a major metropolitan city, I still believe that most self sufficient men should have the wherewithal to at least be able to rent and drive car. :dunno:

What if you were in a position that you, God forbid, had to race Belit (that was your cat's name, correct ?) to the veternary, clear across "M" town and you didn't have wheels ? What about the requirements of your career ? I'd surely think that you should have a vehicle to compliment a job . .

drove a 1999 polo match II two years ago, now using public transportation.
Used to drive my uncle's 1969 charger r/t everytime I was visiting him in Lausanne.
Now thinking about sparing money and why not buying later a 1989 mercedes 560 sel or a 2001 audi a8 w12 or a 1969 charger r/t. I will see how things will be.

Hello Sexy girl how your Toes doing?
On January 11, 2009 I brought home my newest car. I just got a 2000 Ford C.V. P71 and its fuckin sweet! :D

It was definitely a former LEO car. you can even see the markings from where they took off the lettering. Its got spotlights on both sides and I put the little round wheel caps on it. it had the spiral caps on it. but IMO it looked better with little caps on it. I fuckin love it.

I have been driving trucks, SUV's for the past 11 yrs. and was planning on another. but my brother is the store manager @ a pawnshop in Downtown Detroit, and the CV was lost in pawn and my brother knowing I just got my Drivers License back, needed and wanted a dependable vehicle.

I don't think I've ever voiced to anybody. that I wanted an old LEO car, but I was out for dinner with the Family and my brother drops this shit on me. "you interested in a car? ummm. yeah whatcha got? a 2000 Ford. CV p71 PI w/the LEO package! and it was an old LEO car.:shocked:

Needless to say I was like HELL YEAH I WANT IT. ITS MINE. I JUST BOUGHT IT so that night it was basically mine. the next day my brother goes back to work. talks it over with the other store manager. they agreed on a price. and I had my DREAM CAR!

they are and look so fuckin hard. :yesyes: and like mentioned I have always wanted an old LEO car. now that I have one I am NOT disappointed in the least bit. :nono:

Infact I plan on buying a newer one when the chance presents itself. sorry for rambling but its been 3 long fucking years without a DRIVERS LICENSE or a car to drive. so I have been fuckin giddy ever since 1/11/09. :D

what the fuck you lookin at?
I don't have a car and haven't for over a year now. But as soon as the GF's mom gets a new car I'll be buying her 2000 something Olds Alero. Nothing fancy, but it'll only cost about a grand and it stick so it'll be fun to drive!

I don't understand why anyone would ever finance a car, especially a second hand one. You pay more than the car is worth because of the interest you pay.

Well if you have cash to buy an average american car which is $22,000 these days, you are better off putting very little down and financing it for 0% or 2.9%, which allot of automakers are offering. Put the $22K in a CD at 3.44% and you are ahead a bit.

Cars are a bad investment, so I lease what I use and turn it back in.

85 VW Golf GTI dumped on it's nuts on BBS wheels with a supercharged 2.0l

Sure that is not a 1.8? Did they offer a supercharger like the Corrado?, I only know of the 16V.

Those were sweet cars back in the day, still are!
