What kind of Billards do you play?

I am very fond of having a game or two at my favorite pub, or the weekly billards tournament, where the winner gets a free bottle of schnapps

Tried other versions of the game, like nine-ball, snooker, carambolage and even pin billard. My absolute favorite is still the classic eight-ball.

So, do you play billards, too? Got a personal stick, too? Mine had cost me some 25 Euros, it's just more comfortable to a ) know how the thing handles and you don't have to get used to another stick every time you go to the pub, b ) you know it is in good shape, a lot of sticks in pubs get abused by drunken or plain stupid guys.

My local pub has a table with a timer on it and as well as trying to pot balls in the holes you also have to avoid knocking mushrooms over which are standing in front of some holes.

Man, now I am hating you ^^ We had a outdoors ping-pong table that used to sit at awkward angles in our large backyard.

But don't be too sure how the game would swing, friend, I am not THAT bad at pool :1orglaugh

....We had a beautiful, green felt pool table (AMF) in the basement of the luxurious estate where I grew up. Many, many kegger parties thrown at that place! Many, many idiots tossed into the swimming pool as well! :glugglug:

What a life! . . . beer, pussy, music, pool and the next day's rising sun . . . I wanna go back! :crying:
