What is the worst pain you ever felt in your life?

This is an easy one for me.
I went to the dentist for a checkup and he showed an X-ray of one of my molars and he said that the tooth had an infection at the back of it because my wisdom teeth had grown to the point where it was touching it.
I thought he was full of shit because I was chewing and drinking around that area and I did not feel anything.Well,I got home and I decided to floss the back of that tooth. There was about a 1 second delay until the pain went from my head to the bottom of my legs.I had to grab and hold onto the corner of a table for a good minute until the pain gradually went away.It felt like someone stuck a broom covered in nails inside my body and was turning it.I have never come close to feeling any pain like that before or since.
Needless to say,I got my wisdom teeth out and had a root canal done just as the dentist recommended after feeling that kind of pain.

How was the pain after? Any abcess or issues?

It was tooth pain with me as well...back in 2011, after a bout of tonsilitis, my upper left wisdom tooth became infected after the filling had fallen out of it. I should have got it sorted out when the filling came loose but I left it.

After a hot bath one night, a bit of pain came on which lasted a few days, and as it didn't go away, so I went to the dentist to get it checked out. The dentist confirmed it was an infection and gave me antibiotics. However later that evening once I'd gone to bed, still in a bit of pain, it started to get worse and worse even though id took the first of the antibiotics and some paracetamol. Obviously, the anti-biotics hadn't kicked in properly at this point and the paracetamol wasn't working at all and the pain just kept getting worse and worse still, and got so bad I had a panic attack and couldn't control myself. My panic attack woke my housemate and he had to call an ambulance as he didn't know what else to do.

Funnily enough, I remember while I was having the panic attack the pain actually started easing quite a bit...possible adrenaline or something.

Eventually the paramedics came and they were able to settle me down and gave me some proper painkillers for the night.

After they'd left I wasn't too bad, and the days after that the antis started kicking in and got a lot better.

That's the worst pain I've ever had!

Break-out on the skin on the inside of my left thigh; Lyme disease from a tick bite. Unbelievable pain. Felt like someone was holding a blow torch to the impacted area.. The night it started, I got up to use the bathroom overnight. My entire body was shaking from the pain from walking the 20' or so.

My senior year in high school. 1st I lost my job at All American Burger for telling a customer I was going to kick 100% of his ass. Then my girlfriend dumped me right before I was going to dump her. Then I wound up taking a job at some shitty seafood place but that didn't last long.
Then my sisters friend caught me masturbating in the pool house. And if that wasn't bad enough then my little sister got pregnant by some ticket scalper who later seemed to just disappear off the face of the Earth.
These are very painful things for a high school kid .
Things got better after I threw hot coffee in a guys face while he was robbing me at gunpoint. That was totally awesome.

I miss All American Burger. I used to go to the one on Westwood & Ohio for breakfast all the time. Good breakfasts there. I liked the burgers and fries too and would get those also. They replaced that All American Burger with a darn Coffee Bean. Whenever I drive by that Coffee Bean I think of All American Burger and all the nice breakfasts and burgers with fries I had there. I miss All American Burger so much that it gives me pain... more pain than any pain I've ever had in my back. Oh, I wish All American Burger would come back so I can get even just one more of their nice breakfasts and maybe, if I could, come back later for a delicious burger and fries too.

I have pinched nerves in my neck and back, arthritis in my knees, left hip, right elbow, hands, and spine, and gout in my left big toe....so its a toss up every day, depending on the humidity.

The first two days of the Detox part f my Rehab were excruciating. Even though I got the usual meds to ease the pain and thecramps, there was enough surplus pain t go around. Yet, in the second bed in the hospital room, there was an alcoholic WAY worse off than me, he told me it was his 30th try at getting sober, and he jerked around in bed like a rag doll with high voltage clips at his toes and fingers. and several times, while walking around, he blacked out and fell flat on the floor, face firts, then he fell face first into the door, almost hitting the door handle with his eye.

So I was both grateful for my pain, and I took away more conviction to stay sober from then on.

Which I still do

The worst pain I've felt was because of a kidney stone. The sensation of continually feeling like I had to urinate even when I didn't made the situation worse.

Nauseous, and the pain radiates all over. I had them in my ureter and leading to the bladder. Lithotripsy procedure and the blasting the sound waves into my back helped tremendously. I now try to drink at least four liters of fluid a day: coffee, water, juice, lemonade, etc. With dark sodas and iced tea, yes I can have them. But not everyday. Just on occasion. Try to pee clear and frequently is the mantra.

When I was fifteen my uncle accidentally hit me with an ax.

It hurt terribly but I didn't get any permanent injuries!

Now: Stenosis in my back -- it's ongoing and hurts so bad it leaves me dizzy
Before: A broken leg. At the time I broke it, the pain was terrible. When I got patched up and stabilized it was manageable.
Also: Like assari, I had an accident with an axe as a kid. Caught me square in the right leg. Still have the scar.

Fell out of a two-story bed (the upper one) on a ship when I was a kid. Felt extreme pain, but was so damn tired in the middle of the night that I simply crawled to the next bed a fell asleep. The next day I realized I can't move my right hand. Couldn't move it for five days at least. After that, everything was back to normal.

Have had gout twice now, once one my left toe and the last one a few weeks ago on my left ankle. Could´nt find any position to be able to sleep.

I've began developing stenosis in my neck. It's not progressed that far as of now and isn't as bad as some pains I have felt, at least not yet, but there are times that's more than equaled by it being ever present and annoying. I have to sleep in one position and get things perfect our sometimes I wake up screwed up. I have to be careful about how I exercise and lift weights. That combined with I have nerve entrapment in both my arms from years of working a job that has been very brutal to them and there are some days it takes me a while for my hands to feel mostly functional. I have to drive to work one handed often and keep switching hands every so often while the other rest to keep feeling in them.
