I was near the Asian market earlier but forgot what I needed and didn't go in. I prolly woulda got one of those soups to try. They have a ton of those things. A whole double aisle of instant soups.

My wife was in Koreatown on Sunday at a market and mentioned all the different noodles they had including the 2X Spicy Samyang ones. She also said they have lots of Korean marinated BBQ. I want to go with her next time as I like looking around ethnic markets.

You know, even with my extensive experience with Asian cuisine, I don't know Korean food very well. I really need to hookup with a proper Korean person and be shown the world.

All I know is BBQ and Koreans don't eat BBQ every day any more than the blacks eat fried chicken and watermelon 7 days a week. I want to go to a sit-down restaurant and have a proper balanced Korean dinner. Speaking of fried chicken I want to try some Korean-style as I have heard great things.

I'm lucky to have married into a nice Filipino ******. My ******-in-law has been told by many Filipinos and non-Filipinos that she should open up a restaurant. Filipinos come around here and line up around the corner to kiss her ass and beg so she will cook their favorite dishes. I have been able to impress a number of my American friends and ***** relatives with her cooking too.

Had Korean BBQ yesterday. Wasn't bad at all. Had a ton of this super thinly sliced brisket. It was so good. I made tacos out of the radish slices, some of the bean sprouts, and that cucumber stuff. I don't know if I'm supposed to, but I did it last time and I did the fuck out of it this time. It was a real treat.

There was this hot pot soup things I had once in California somewhere I had on a sexy rendevous. Whatever that was, I want it again. It had this really good egg on top and the soup base was red.

I'm more of a NongShim fan, but I like these guys too. They have a Korean spicy-cheese version which is pretty unique. But I'd argue instant ramen generally isn't going to have the gut-igniting degree of freshly prepared spicy dishes, IMO because you're likely going to get customer complaints that something is too hot. In a restaurant they can sufficiently warn you, so there's no excuse.

Which brings me to Japanese Ramen houses. Japanese food generally isn't known for being too spicy (probably because it's ulcer inducing?), but I've been to some ramen houses that have dishes specifically made to challenge/******* customers. They're the type of dishes that your meal is free if you can completely finish it, and get your picture on the "wall of fame". I just tried a spoonful of the soup and that was enough to numb by tongue for a couple hours. It's funny because when you look at the "wall of fame", most of the people who completed the "challenge" basically have an expression on them that makes them look like they just came back from the Emergency Room... or are on their way there.

Tonight, I did something of a food challenge that I've seen on YouTube. I made 3 bags of Samyang 2X Spicy Hot Chicken Flavor Ramen Noodles. I let my wife and ******-in-law taste them. One bite was enough because their mouths were on fire. I ate the rest so I put away almost 3 bags. I thought they were spicy but I was expecting them to be spicier. They were good though. Anyone curious about these noodles should try them.

Hot Sauce needs to be spicy but the most important thing is taste. For people who like Tabasco Sauce but say it's not spicy enough I recommend Tabasco Scorpion Pepper Sauce. It's the hottest Tabasco Sauce but it still has that good Tabasco Sauce taste.

I've had Phall and Tindaloo hot rubies and I can concur your bottom wished it had never been born following said dishes. My go to is Madras hot for reference.
