What is the latest good TV series you have watched?

"The Naked Director," on Netflix. It is set in Japan, decades ago. V-E-R-Y restrictive porn industry!! Towards the end of the series, the third actress he does a scene with is a nympho. Great feedback to him, during the scene.

I liked "The Lost Pirate Kingdom" on NFLX. Only six episodes, and they are short (low 40-minute length). One negative: the producer uses A LOT of shots repetitively throughout the series.. BUT - a positive is Mia Tomlinson, who plays Anne Bonny. Super cute, stacked, curly brunette! And, one of the repetitive scenes is with whores in a pub, with partial nudity.

Nik Katira (Rudi Dharmalingam) is a gifted nurse in Ward C of a psych hospital in the Australian Blue Mountains. He is uncannily tuned-in to the feelings of others. He has a talent for putting out the emotional fires of the often volatile patients there. He has a huge heart and a strong will. And he has demons of his own. In Wakefield, show creator Kristen Dunphy has given us an inside look at every character, every ordeal, and every feeling promulgated by a career apart from any other. While the episodes tend to time shift and delve into fantasy regularly, the atmosphere, tension and talent make up in a way that few new shows can, on any continent. Try watching this and NOT feeling for its participants. The writers weave a web of individuality and a compelling desire to remember their charges names. There have been other similar shows. But none done quite as impactfully as this. Imperfect. Hard to follow at times. But exceptional in a way that impresses even more, considering the subject matter. A-

Update on Ozark - very good first season indeed, SUPERB last episode. Looking forward to more.

Finished the first season of The Twilight Zone as well. Amazingly consistent quality. Second season's started well too.

Nearly finished season 7 of Brooklyn Nine Nine. Just as consistently funny as ever, there are absolutely no troughs in the quality of this thing at all. Same goes for King of the Hill (up to season 4) and Parks and Recreation (near the end of season 5), both easy and fun watches.

Finished the series finales of Superstore & Ducktales, currently enjoying the Rookie. Getting a little heavy on the social justice (esp the first couple eps) but hoping it will gets back to its semi-comedy/dark humor.

Now that I have to wait till late this year or next year for Beforeigners second season, I have started watching The Pacific on HBO Max. Trying to be a story in the style of Band of Brothers. Only watched 1/2 hour or so so far. Ok to that point.

Sorry mate, I'm going to have to challenge you on that. Breeders is the best London based TV show right now :)

I'm revising my previous post. LDR Season 2 isn't bad, but there were fewer "hits" than misses.
The realism with some of those scenes is crazy good though, aside from the people, you'd think it was live action.

That being said, the season literally ends with a giant human dick. Like, a 10-foot tall one. Not kidding.

Binging Dexter. Just started Season 8.

Hannah, walking in beauty, like the night
Hannah, soft as the early morning light
Nothing I do, brings me to you
Hannah, let me love you

Hannah, distance surrounds you everwhere
Hannah, living in memories I can't share
Living a life, wide as the sky
Hannah, mmmm let me love you

Hannah, queen of my nights, light of my day
Hannah, slowly the hours fade away
Wishes for you, never came true
Hannah, mmm let me love you

Let me love you
Got to love you
Mmmmm, love you

Love you
