I thought it was a pretty good social commentary. Must've watched that 3 times. Never gets old.

I didn't think the movie was mindless, it was a good social commentary as you say and was pretty powerful. But the violence commited by the boys, especially Vinz, was pretty mindless.

The old dude during the car robbery was hilarious, I watched it a few times in a row laughing my head off.

Shawshank Redemption.
Felt I had to see it after all the hype. And naturally, it was a disappointment. Not bad, but certainly nothing superb either.

Oh and Tim Robbins is annoying as hell too.
