Like I said before,the story pretty much sucks,and it get's worse the more you think about it,but if you think that the visuals are like a PS3 game, then you have to show me that game.
I don't really know about the claims that this is revolutionary or groundbreaking,because movies were going to get to this point anyway.It's just getting so much hype because it's Cameron and he hasn't done a movie in forever,plus the fact that it cost $300 million to make.
It's definitely worth seeing in the theater,but you really have to be watching it for nothing more than the visuals,which quite frankly,are the absolute best visuals ever put to the big screen.
I will say this,if this movie was release in the summer(whether it be this past summer or next summer) the "critics" would have a field day with it.I think that the studio chose a winter release because they knew that it was nothing different than your typical summer blockbuster,all show and no go,so they wanted to separate themselves from that pack so that the audience and critics would take it more seriously,instead of just looking at it as a typical summer popcorn flick.
