There is always a problem with Kubrick films: It's the Kubrick fans. They usually worship his output, no matter how mediocre it is (Shining).

But Barry Lyndon is a movie of immense beauty. The story might be based on an average Thackeray novel, but .. the imagery, THE IMAGERY! :hatsoff:

A good movie (for laughs) is Baseketball. I have seen it several times but laugh every time, definately worth buying (its in the bargain bin). Its made by the guys who make South Park.
