Oh, and it has Monica Bellucci.^^

I went to see Death Proof last night. As most of you know, Death Proof and Planet Terror are being released separately over here in the UK, with an extended version of Death Proof being shown.

I thought Death Proof was was a good, solid film. There are bits in it which are similar to the first scene in Reservoir Dogs, just people sitting round a table talking about random shit. But they go on for longer and they not really funny at all, just girl talk. Some parts of these scenes are entertaining but they could have been alot better. As for the rest of the film, it is superb. The car chases are excellent, the special effects are awesome, and there are people dying spectacularly. I loved the action scenes throughout the movie. I would recommend this movie. I think Tarantino delivers on this one. I can't wait to see Rodriguez's Planet Terror!

Sunshine - not as gritty as 28 Days Later, but still a great movie in it's own right.

Shooter - it's the guns, be still my beatin' heart!

Just watched a lesser-known Dustin Hoffman flick from 1970 called Little Big Man in which he plays a man who was raised by Indians. The story is told in flashback, as Hoffman's character is extremely old. Good show.:)

Death Proof is great! I'm right there with ya - loved it in theaters, had to buy the DVD, so glad I did. I really enjoyed all the behind the scenes stuff and the movie itself is just as thrilling the second time.

And every woman in the movie - except their older friend in the first section - is a babe.
