Two Italian Splatterfests from Necrostorm. I had heard about Adam Chaplin and just watched it for the first time. It was described as a combination of The Crow, Riki-Oh, and Fist Of The North Star. The extreme gore was mentioned and it lived up to the hype maybe exceeding it. Just amazing action from start to finish with some odd villainous characters to boot. I highly recommend it and I will be rewatching it again soon. The second film from Necrostorm was also directed by Giulio De Santi and is called Taeter City. This was also an extremely gory film and had a Troma feel to it. Criminals get ground up for meat and made into delicious meals at a place called Taeter Burger. Fun movie that can be more enjoyed if not taken too seriously.

Shrek. I hadn't seen it for a while and really enjoyed it.
Yeah I've been hearing really good things about it. Although it's sad to hear that both Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart said it'll be their last X-Men movie.

The Cemetery ended up being much better than I was expecting. I think I might pick up Hunters also directed by Adam Ahlbrandt at Massacre Video.

Went to go see Kong: Skull Island today at the Century City AMC in IMAX 3D. Real fun movie nicely filmed with great effects. If you go make sure to stay until after the credits end for an extra scene.

Last night I also saw Amerikan Holokaust. Horrible acting and way too much Bob Glazier wiener but I enjoyed the brutality and gore. Got the DVD from the good people at The Sleaze Box.
