What is it in the Canadian water?

they are just trying to make it attractive for the Stanley Cup to come back. hell, the Stanley Cup has been in Raleigh and Tampa more than it has been in Montreal the last two decades.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

Tampa team: 17 Canadians, 4 Americans

Carolina team: 10 Canadians, 7 Americans

The only reason why Tampa and Carolina have had the cup so much more than Montreal is because the team was comprised of mostly Canadians. Boston won the cup but the cup was in Canada all summer because 90% of their team are Canadian. :1orglaugh

Didn't the Spexy one say it wasn't the water but the beer in Canada that gave those benefits? :D

Yup its the beer. The far superior beer. ;)

Canada is part of North America. I see no difference in how the people look.

Spexy, I am well aware of the roster breakdowns. If that is the case, why do Canadians get so mad when their native teams are eliminated. Don't all Canadians celebrate when one of the countrymen gets his name engraved on Lord Stanley's Cup?

Was Vancouver in flames to celebrate Lucic?

We don't all get mad - please don't generalize. Stupid shit happens on your side of the border as well.

Exactly right. Some of the petty quarreling between these two nations at times really turns me off.

I think I'm more pissed the Wild don't have a roster full of natives from the State. Would be arguably the best team in the league if they did.

The people who rioted in Vancouver didn't even attend the game or have any interest in it. They were just starting shit because they thought they had a reason to be a dumb fuck. Everyone I know was fine with Boston winning, and we all take pride in knowing our countrymen have a huge influence on hockey.

Actually, Elisha Cuthbert is about as perfect a specimen on this planet. Best thing to come out of Canada since hockey. But Avril is hot, albeit one of the shortest chicks you will ever see.

ALL OF THE ABOVE!!!!! :rubbel: :yesyes: :yummie: :drool2:

Then we look at sports teams differently. All is well. If Wayne Rooney and Manchester United with the Champions League, I don't celebrate it because I am part English.

This thread had a nice theme til I chirped up. Sorry, OP. Won't happen again.

It's more because we are border countries, I suspect, and because one of us has a bit of...nah, I won't go there again. :1orglaugh

Pretty much.

Pretty much.

Don't get me started, PT2. If not for America there are thousand of Canadians who would not be getting 8 figure contracts. I have one in my family who got a free college education and a nice contract (not even close to 8 figures though) because of America. The day Canada can support 30 NHL teams, 30 AHL teams and pay their players these gigantor contracts is the day I will shut up on that talk.

Shall we carry on with the thread?

Ah, but when will the day come when roughly 1/2 of your franchises can support themselves without having to get subsidies from the Canadian teams? Free education is great, but we kind of have that here too... not to mention the Canadians who head down to America are the cast-offs who can't make it on Canadian junior or university teams. And yet they still play better than the Americans do. How strange!

And yet they still want to attend Harvard, Yale, Princeton and other world class educational institutions, all the while fucking our girls and whoring on the towns. ;)

No need to worry, we have plenty of expendable income to toss to a league like the NHL. We are the wealthiest country on the planet after all. :D

Which is strange, because I think the entire point of this thread was how Canadian women are hotter than American women. Face it, bro: Our beer is better, our women are hotter and our football is much more entertaining.

Tee hee hee. I didn't know you lived in Luxembourg.

And the Raptors are going to be world champs someday, too.

:rofl2: POTW. :sarcasm:
