One minor thing I didn't like about it other than needing more classic puzzle filled dungeons was the weapon degradation in it. I know why thy they put it in there, because if they didn't everybody would just choose one weapon and hardly use anything else until the occasional time they got a better one even though there is a gigantic variety to choose from. Still I have yet to find a game with a weapon degradation mechanic that has been done well and hasn't become more of a pain in the ass to deal with than it's worth.
The weapons are made out of paper or something. It's pretty annoying. Degrading.. sure. I get that. But these things break a little too fast. I just now beat the elephant divine beast boss. Ran out of bows, ended up throwing all my swords and blades at him to finish him off. The entire Zora's domain and the divine beast dungeon took me about 5 hours maybe.
