Actually, I've done work for both Harvard and Yale. I've talked to many of their grads. Not everyday you talk to a future Yale grad huh?
In fact, I see a huge difference between a grad and a student, especially underclassmen.
There is a reason why many underclassmen get nearly "hazed" by upperclassmen and graduates.
It's because it helps keep their attitudes in check.
Dude, my Alma Mater, while not quite as well known as others, dominates in several EE contests year-in and year-out.
But that doesn't mean I go around slapping that in the face of others, especially because my professional peers and how I treat them with respect is far more important.
In fact, it rarely comes up, until someone starts talking about how great their Alma Mater is in various contests.
And that's when I say, "oh, I went to xxx."
If they are really familiar with the contest, they go, "oh man, you guys even beat MIT, Stanford and even Carnegie Mellon -- wow!"
If they are not, they will still go look up the results, and find out for themselves.
Dude, why not stop reminding everyone you go to Yale, and just enjoy the board.LOL nice I bet for an inferior...that's ok you shouldn't come on this board just for intelligent, talented people like me. Just b/c I'm in Yale doesn't make me far superior to you, I consider myself equal to you and everybody on this board. I do hope my stay on here lasts a while.
We're not here to flash our credentials, and even I have been avoiding many threads as of late where I could be considered a very rare expert.
E.g., I have show such repeatedly -- with my answers causing the "poll" to be removed on Moon Landings thread (where half of the board thought they were).
It's not worth it, especially if you really want to get a blow job.
A lot of it has to do with personality, not credentials, and God knows that's how I got mine.
Despite some of my friends in high school going off to Ivy League and a couple even graduating.
