Baked pork chops. Wanted garlic buttered noodles with them but realized I was out of butter. I would have gone out to get some except... a) Would mean putting on clothes. b) 5" of snow last night had everyone in my complex shoveling. With that comes leaving my parking spot for some douchebag to park their car before I get back from the store.

Got my top notch Chorizo & Egg Breakfast Burrito from Carl's Jr this morning.

Anybody try the new Chorizo Breakfast Burritos from McDonald's?

It seems kind of expensive for what you're getting. Hopefully they gave you the Happy Meal toy with it to make up the difference. :1orglaugh

The hot donuts sign was lit up when I drove by Krispy Kreme on my way in this morning so I whipped my car around and picked up a dozen hot glazed and a pint of milk. I thought I would share them with the office but they smelled so good I ate 6 of them before I hit the next 3 stop lights. I am still picking off little icing flakes from my slacks and coat and there are flakes of icing all over the seat of my car.

Sunday is my weekly breakfast at my house with my friends and this weekend and I got started about an hour ago to have it ready by 10. Im gonna make a tartare also with sourdough toast.

I have a beef tenderloin I seared in my cast iron on all sides and then put in the oven at 275 that I am going to make steak n eggs with today. itll slow cook at 275 until its 125 degrees Ill take it out and put it on my carving board for 30 minutes which should get it to a perfect medium rare. Ill cut it into 1 1/2 inch thick slices and lay 2 fried eggs on it and the sides will be whole baby bella mushrooms sauteed in sweet cream butter and garlic puree and home made hash browns which I'm soaking my shredded potatoes now to get the starch off of them. Here is a pic of my tenderloin after I seared it and about to go into the oven. that is nearly 6 pounds of filet mignon and it is beautiful!
