What Did You Eat For Breakfast?

BCT

Pucker Up Butter Cup.
Lol yeah, unfortunate spelling. Damn those japanese and their funny words :D

Just now
- 2 ground sirloin beef patties, REGULAR mushrooms and dipped in ranch and washed down with coffee. Tomorrow I load up on carbs. Mmm :yummie: pancakes.

Now I can fuck up some pancakes. Butter with hot maple syrup. :drool2:

Frankly it surprises me that I hadn't freaked out anyone yet with the Menudo thing. :rofl2: Actually, truth be told, throughout the years, I HAVE started to lose my taste for ... get freaked out by / get grossed out a bit by the Tripe part of it. So, I try to get way more of the Hominy and the Spicy Sauce part.

Did you ever hear that it is a great cure for a hangover? I believe it IS true! I don't drink anymore, but I do recall an incident a long time ago, back in my drinking days when it was proven to be true.

One Saturday morning I showed up to work in bad shape. I wanted to go home almost immediately. I told my boss I was gonna go home cuz I was in bad shape. He told me, "Nah man. Stick it out till lunch and I'll take you to Lupita's Cafe for a bowl of Menudo and it'll fix you right up." After at least two more utterings of, "I need to go home NOW" and through sheer willpower, I stuck it out till lunch and my boss was right. A bowl of Menudo did fix me right up of my hangover and I was able to finish out the day.

I'm Mexican but I haven't had menudo since I was a little kid and my grandpa used to come over on Sundays for breakfast. Menudo has parts of the pig that the pig doesn't even want back

 Yeah, Menudo isn't for the faint of stomach. Actually, the Tripe in Menudo is Cow Tripe. They DO though, during the making of it stick in a FOOT that at this instant I cannot confirm whether it is a Cow Foot or a Pig Foot.

Now ... there is the shall we say --- cousin of Menudo. :rofl2: That one has the Hominy and almost assuredly the Spicy Red Chili Sauce just like Menudo. However, instead of having Cow Tripe in it, it has Pork chunks. And while I could be recalling incorrectly, I'm vaguely THINKING that whatever type of Foot Menudo has in it ... this cousin of Menudo has the opposite type of Foot. You know --- Cow Foot vs. Pig Foot. Anyway, the name of this Menudo cousin is --- Posole.
