The union is the same one that brought the Federal worker's strike just a year ago, so it there's no deal, it's pretty much guaranteed there will be strike action.
Border security is of course an essential service, so everyone can't just walk off the job. But it will mean decreased staff levels to process entries into the country, combined with demonstrations which will physically impede traffic.
