The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, by Steig Larsson. Translated from Swedish but incredibly readable. Very dark but you just keep turning those pages to see how much darker (god forbid) it can get. It can.
Another book on the Myers-Briggs personality types.

The End Of Time by Julian Barbour
A physics book that attempts a Unified Theory by dismissing Newtonian Space and Time as fallacies. It's written with a good pace and is not totally incomprehensible to the layman, while at the same time being very thorough and concise in it's arguments and offering a good overview on physics, especially Relativity, in general.

also today I just got The Golden Dawn by Israel Regardie; the teachings and practices of the formerly secret society and an encyclopedia of nearly all knowledge of the western occult/ magic(k) tradition.
