Ry Cooder is a master musician when it comes to almost all stringed instruments: slide guitar, mandolin, lute, acoustic guitar (six and twelve string), banjo, dobro guitar, ukulele, electric guitar, string bass, and electric bass. He can even handle bows for violin, and cello. Though he rarely plays them.
