Move over Nita Strauss...Discovered Sophie Lloyd last night after listening to some Jeff Beck!

Sophie Lloyd plays the guitar better than Jeff Beck, and she's super hot.
Never heard of Jeff Beck before I saw the video John_8581 posted on Sunday, or of Sophie Lloyd before this video.

Ditto on the Sophie Lloyd super hotness (and not hearing of her until now). Is she too-hot-for-rock? While watching the video I was thinking she needs some angst.

Check out her instagram: https://www.instagram.com/sophieguitar_/

Yes, Sophie is very hot and plays the guitar very well, but I wouldn't go as far as saying she is better than Jeff Back. Jeff is an absolute legend and has his own style and techniques, and Sophie is the same with her own style and techniques. It's all a bit subjective TBH! :)

I am surprised you hadn't heard of Jeff Beck before John's post the other day too...he has played guitar for almost 60 years and has produced so much great music!

Definitely not too hot for rock!...Sophie is pretty talented from the videos I've seen of her so far on both counts! Super Hot, Super Talented! A great combination! (y):D

Love this rendition of Thriller she does! Blinding Technique!!!

Unless you're a hardcore classic rock fan, Jeff Beck could slip through the cracks. He really hasn't had the widespread reach like Page, Clapton, or Hendrix.

Continuing the theme:
Ann and Nancy Wilson, Jason Bonham (drums), and Shane Fontayne (lead guitar) performing Stairway to Heaven at the Kennedy Center Honors. Jimmy Page's face is priceless as he's watching. I'm surprised he didn't walk out to do the solo. Robert Plant is moved by a song he doesn't necessarily like to perform.

George Harrison - "This Song"

With his friends, Jim Keltner as the Judge, Eric Idle and Ronnie Wood as the Ladies (in Drag), and Tom Scott in the jury box with two other unknown saxophonists. [I'm still trying to find out who his friend - the tall bearded motorcycle cop is?] I have no clue. Anybody know?

It was the result of the plagiarism Court case of his "My Sweet Lord" and the Chiffons "He's So Fine"

The plaintiff's expert also drew up several charts with large musical notes on it to prove the point.[1] Harrison said in his autobiography, I, Me, Mine, that after several days, he "started to believe that maybe they did own those notes".[1] .

-- That's why "This Song" is in the key of E. :)

Thank you. :)

Here's a Jeff Beck song that I like ... (with Chris, Keith, Jim and Paul)

... And another one that I also love. With Rod Stewart (after the Jeff Beck Group) 👍

What is amazing about Jeff Beck is his playing and bending of notes. Crisp and clear. He rarely uses a tremolo bar and the vibrato he creates is outstanding. One of the great players.

Not knowing it at the time, back in the early 90's, below were the first tracks I heard from Jeff Beck from the movie Twins. I didn't discover it was him until a few years later after a workmate introduced me to Jeff's music properly.

Both are amazing tracks! :)
