Last week a cop in Ohio died in a skydiving accident.
His main chute got tangled and when he cut it loose his backup chute either didn't deploy in time or also failed to open.
He jumped from an altitude of 10,000ft. and landed on a highway....ouch!!!:eek:
That is a terrible way to go, falling 10,000 fighting a failed parachute and knowing for at least an instant you're not gonna make it.
I can only imagine what went through his mind seconds before impact.
