Al Coolio

Yeah, Weird Al claims that his record company got permission from Coolio's people to do the song. Coolio says that his people never gave Weird Al the ok.

I don't think Coolio ever threatened Al. There was a misunderstanding at some point, I know that. Coolio did "roll with it" though, showing he has class.

Parodies are protected under various freedom of expression and licensing or other permission is not required. As an additional gesture and appreciation, Al always gets permission beforehand and returns 10% of the profits on a single or the portion of an album. He is required to do neither, legally.

Yeah! Weird Al is my favorite male, musical artist. His songs are hysterical.
Since I am a "foodie" (aka food fanatic... I enjoy thinking about food, talking about food,
