"User Names": What do they mean?

I just love hockey and Canada and when I was recovering from my accident and the first five years after that, I had too much freetime, so I watched a lot of sports on TV: on the winter Olympics I saw Eric Lindros for the first time and I was impressed by him.

That's why.

It was a take on The Glitch Mob song "Animus Vox"

One of the meanings of the word animus is courage. And what I had in mind was the fox in the movie The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe which was one my favorite stories as a kid.

In the face of certain death, Mr. Fox does the right thing:

That made me feel like I was on acid. lol

I drive a van for work and used to have a dog that was addicted to riding in it. My brother-in-law started calling me dognvan which is almost the real spelling of my actual name of you trade the g for an o and put it in the right spot.

I've been banned so many times I ran out of usernames. So I tapped my penis on the keyboard and this is what I'm stuck with for the moment. I'll prolly do the same thing again if I have to.

Going by the fact that more than a few have changed, not a goddamn thing.

My username doesn't really mean anything in particular. Just something I randomly came up with at the time I registered for the forum. Would be nice to change it but I don't think that is possible.

Oh, but it is. You can hit up Adam or Regina and if you ask nicely you can get it.

Major Crimes? Shiiiit.
I'm a huge fan of the TV show The Wire and the character of Clay Davis has the best voice and some of the funniest lines in the series. So when I was thinking of user names claydavis popped into my head and I haven't looked back since.

If your current username was unavailable when you registered what would be you have used instead?

I added a twist to this thread, instead of what does your current username mean; If your current username was unavailable when you registered what would be you have used instead? To answer both questions; xfire was a take on Cross Fire. I'm not sure what I would have used if xfire wasn't available, something equally stupid, I'm sure.

Re: If your current username was unavailable when you registered what would be you have used instead

In the UK it is quite common for the letter 'X' to be used as an expletive such as the word 'Shit'. The word 'Fire' is another term for Head. Strange old world.

I'll be sure and check Yelp for that.

I tried it without the "70", and it wasn't available. Later - much later - I asked if the "70" could be dropped. I was very politely told that it couldn't.

I'm way past the point of beginning the process which would ultimately result in me possibly starting to give a shit.

One of my favorite characters from arguably the best TV show of all time. Only Breaking Bad was in the same league, IMO.

As for Clay Davis
