I love doing little creative things like this as well as my other more smutty videos
Actually I have an audition for a burlesque troupe next Sunday. I am really nervous about this because this is the troupe I was apart of before and the main girl had kicked me out for not making a photoshoot when I was out of town at a adult webmaster's convention. I think she had other jealousy issues with me though.
Well come to find out they are allowing me to try out but quite a few of the members have an issue with my WEBSITE. They think if I am in the troupe I shouldn't be able to twitter, myspace or even blog about our shows because they think I will attracted the wrong type of crowd. This really hurts my feelings and pisses me off because these people are supposed to be open minded and this is BURLESQUE. No matter how artful you do it you are still stripping.
Anyways I am considering just skipping the audition. I don't want to put my heart into a routine just to have them tell me I can be in the troupe but can't tell anyone... I dunno what I am going to do, what is your opinions?
I really want to be apart of this because I am a trained dancer (it was my college major!) and I would love to be able to perform again but if I have to keep my art under wraps and whatnot that sounds lame. They even said I couldn't use the name "UndressJess" even though it's totally perfect for flipping burlesque!
P.S. This is really not the way I do burlesque The video is just me playing around with ideas and costumes, I'll probably record a video of my routine I actually use to audition if I still decide to do it and all...
