Conservatives have been talking about sacrificing elder folks to "save America for future generations." but there's something I don't understand : Most elder folks are conservatives. Most young people are liberals.
Conservatives have been telling us for years that liberals don't like America, that they wish to make America a socialist country like Venezuela. Why would conservatives ask their voters to sacrifice themselves to keep America for liberal voters who, according to conservatives, don't even like America ? Isn't there a risk for conservatives to push for that ? Could't it make their voters angry ?

To be clear: I certainly don't believe everything promoted by the news outlets. They've been wrong before and will be wrong again. They're probably 90% right on the facts. I stopped watching cable news many years ago because fact and opinion were getting too blurred.

When you believe nothing is true and promulgate a sense of superiority it's difficult to take anything you say seriously. These events did happen and I appreciate your offer to meet in Charlottesville although I am not planning on being in the area again for a few years. Two mass shooting occurred within the metro area of my residence (a short commute actually). I am acquainted with people affected by each. No crisis actors were involved and the actions were real.

Ok. I meant I'll meet you on the thread here about it not the actual city. Glad you stopped watching cable news. I canceled my TV in 2012.
You've struck the root of where we begin to differ about all this stuff.
You use the word "Wrong" to describe what I call "Blatant Lies".
The entire "MSM" is completely compromised. There is no such thing as journalism anymore, it doesn't exist. Its just a propaganda machine now.
And they don't make "mistakes". Every news presentation be it video or written all over the country (and world) repeats the same thing about individual topics word for word. They can't all be copying each other.
This means they all get the same written script from somewhere, that is the only explanation.
Where? Not sure, maybe either Associated Press or Reuters.........but where do they get it from? There must be a primary source of all of it.
If journalism did still exist take Charlottesville for example. For almost a week they all told us Hyers was hit by a car and killed. Why didn't 1 "journalist" simply watch the video and see that she wasn't hit by the car? Not one.
Only when word got out they changed it to "She had a heart attack". Even her own (Fake) mother and (Fake) multi-racial friends said she was hit by the car. Obviously they must have known she wasn't.
Why didn't one journalist see close up pictures of Heather at the scene and saw clearly it wasn't the same person?
Why didn't one journalist see the silver challenger driving around before the incident then parked up the street waiting for the crowd to turn the corner? Or the Miltary vehicle with Golf Cart stretcher waiting around the corner? Or question how all those police showed up simultaneously when there was not one around at all? Or why none of them helped the woman known as Heather? Lot more too.

My whole point is with a completely compromised Information source they can portray anything as real. They can cause mass hysteria over a virus all over the entire planet. They can create and promote any agenda and basically tell us anything they want.
To pick and choose what you think they are lying about or telling the truth about or making mistakes about is illogical.
There is no reason or motivation for them to ever tell the truth.

I know you were not addressing me but this is the type of mentality and attitude that I think makes it impossible to reason with you.
What does bubonic plague 700 years ago have to do with it?
Thats like saying a person is innocent of murder and someone saying "Well I suppose Ted Bundy was innocent too".
Sure there is a virus out there.
Does that mean its not being manipulated? Look around, they have shut down the entire world. They have caused BILLIONS of people to make heavy sacrifices in their lives. The biggest example of government overstepping their bounds ever in history.
Is it so wrong to look into it and come up with the conclusion that we are not being told the truth? That something else is at play?
And if somebody does and you and people like you think they are wrong then tell them why they are wrong. Make them see the truth that you know so well. Should be easy to prove a positive.

Check out all the videos of nurses dancing and making tik tok videos. You know since they are soooo overwhelmed on the front lines. They look awfully happy and energized for dealing with death all day. This is as real as Santa Claus.

I've seen the videos. I think any reasonable and normal person would think they are at least in very bad taste or at most fucking disgusting.
So I ask myself, 'Are all these medical people either so ignorant and detached from reality that they can't see how distasteful doing that is, or are they full of shit about the whole thing?'.
I am inclined to believe the latter is the most likely possibilty.
There are sick people out there and some are dying especially after they get put on ventilators, i'm not denying that.
But why would they lie or exaggerate which terrorizes everybody?
Well 1st its because they are doing what their bosses tell them, and the bosses bosses tell them ect ect.

Thats over 32 million for each hospital. Plus all the other money they get for each patient listed as Corona.
New York will probably get at least 10 times that amount.....all paid with borrowed money too. The Federal Reserve gives no special interest rates for a "pandemic".
So yeah last I heard millions of dollars is a pretty good motive to lie.
