I posted this before, but it doesn't take a lot of thought to realize that Tainster probably can't restore PH to its former glory even if they were inclined to do so.
The two factors in question are the cost of paying performers and cameramen and the collapse of porn revenue as a results of the ubiquity of *******s and the emergence of PornHub/MindGeek and similar sites as a purely popup revenue driven source for content.
Pornhub's business model amounts to copyright kidnapping and extortion. It allows people to upload copyrighted porn videos knowing that most holders can no longer afford the cost of having lawyers and their researchers police the Internet for such unauthorized uploads. They can either agree to leave the video up and take the very small royalty that Pornhub offers for hosting it, or take the expense of legal action to get them to take it down. Most owners eventually realize that the cost-benefit equation favors the former, since porn sites generally don't have the deep pockets that networks and movie studios do. But that starts a revenue "Death Spiral". Sensible consumers won't pay for what they can readily pirate, so the producers have to cut membership fees to retain the less sensible or more ethical members, which means that there's less money to make content...
...and that makes limitations in quality. Obviously, every cameraman has to be paid, and skilled camera operators would probably prefer to be doing something other than wandering around an orgy getting closeups of dicks in orifices. That means fewer cameraman getting worse shots of the better action. Moreover, the "amateurs" have to be paid, same as the plants. Read the fine print at the beginning of a Dancing Bear video. Even in Prague, they probably have to abide by the same legal terms as would pertain to a "Girls Gone Wild" video. Everyone attending the party needs to sign a release saying they consent to be filmed and for that film to be commercially exploited. Even for the women who don't plan to participate at the outset, they almost certainly will have to be compensated on a flat scale for what acts they DO perform, and this pay scale was probably included in the releases they sign to incentivize their participation. Anything less would be an egregious invitation to a massive lawsuit, the tort law equivalent of walking into a pride of lions and repeatedly kicking the dominant male in the nose. Your life expectancy would be extended solely by the predators' inability to believe what is happening.
So the strippers aren't ignoring the non-plants now out of homosexual disinterest, they're almost certainly now being given a quota of how many plants they are allowed to interact with, if any, as a budget constraint.
So the sad fact is that unless they can find a production location with an even lower cost of labor relative to the US and Western Europe than Prague, or new technology somehow nullifies the existence of digital piracy, then we are, sadly, presently stuck with the best of all possible Party Hardcores.

I was also interested in comparing total site updates since eromaxx had all kinds of niche sites which aren't available any more. I compared 2016 to the last full year of eromaxx (2009). Here is what I found:

When you also consider that some previous eromaxx content (allwam oil & mud wresting) has been removed and placed as pay-as-you-go content on the sindrive suite of sites, along with the reduced quality of what is being offered, I have estimated shitster as having about 1/6 the "bang for your buck" of eromaxx.
I can't remember what eromaxx charged for monthy memberships but if you assume the same as today $29.95/month, shitster should be charging $4.99/month for the shit they're shoveling at us.
Sorry for the long rant everybody but I've been a loyal customer for most of the time since 2003 (only cancelling when I had money issues) so it breaks my heart to see what these clowns are doing to my beloved site.

regarding PH not making money, its not about where to make money but how to make money, they have such a huge amount of content, they are not monitizing, they can launch a new site(where they release unedited uncut videos of old PH , WSO, MSP) and charge the same for that what they charge for new content that can help to support new PH content, what is not clear is that they so much money for DSO for silly cloths and sets rather than using the same for Ph, which actually earns money for them dso is great because of it stars not because of the cloths and sets , same can be done for PH
Would they even be able to publish additional footage from old parties if they really wanted to? Do they store all camera streams for that long, or isn't that material "cut away" and deleted, just like with regular movies (I assume). And would there be legal problems maybe?

I've wondered if maybe some of the reason they edit out some amateurs is for legal or financial reason, like maybe the release the model signed didn't include acts or offered more money if footage was used. The editors, producers could also just be 'nice' and cut footage that would embarrass a girl; I can appreciate the sentiment, but this seems like an odd way for a porn company to act. Considering most of the amateurs still have at least a small portion of the act online already I'm not sure that other camera footage would really make a difference, it's not like there is a way to un-fuck them, or un-release the current footage.
I personally think the people at Tainster have a different 'vision' of what they think we want and for years have pretty much just ignored the people that pay for their content. They used to pay lip service with their blogs - Barbara Summer's blog was cool but she pretty much just repeated managements line of 'thanks for the comment, now fuck off, we know better.' Tainster would probably be suffering the same monetary constraints as other producers, but maybe it could have been mitigated some if they had bothered to listen at least a bit to their customers. For years people have been asking for multi-cam, or at least different edits with the focus on the amateur girls. They always tried to maintain the all the girls are amateurs etc. thing and other stupidities. At least half of the old DSO multi-cams from last year were actually already released the first time in HD (HD WMV) and multi-cam (multi-cam started in Nov. of 2007 for DSO). Now I'm cool with SOME 2007 and 2008 releases (1 or 2 at most a year) since we get the higher quality, problem is they break the parties up in to 5-6 (instead of the old 4) and the BIG problem is they just toss 2 camera angles customers got in the original release. There was generally an A, B, C, D and POV (sometimes one less) cam. I'm assuming they are doing the same thing with older releases, it's like some idiot decided on a mold and it must be the way things are done. Up until about 2-3 years ago the DSO cams were actually cams you followed, now they basically just edit 4 movies per week
So here is the thing, most customers are asking them to SPEND LESS MONEY, but just give us a product that they haven't crapped all over. Why are they paying an editor to fuck up the current DSO camera's, just give us all the cams straight and slap some music over it (I know a slight bit of editing will need to happen). Give us ALL the cams from the old DSO's and give us old party hardcore's with new footage while they sort out how to shoot them correctly again. Since Tainster is releasing old (2004-2006) parties I assume they still have the raw footage as others have noted slightly different cuts, but that might have been just for the old Shameless Parties DVD's. If they did delete or trash old footage that would be the height of stupidity. That old footage could keep subs for years if they used it correctly.
Big take away from this forum if anyone from Tainster ever bothers to engage is that we would like them to actually pay attention to what their subs want, that's been something lacking from them for pretty much forever.
