Tribbing & Jilling: the two stupidest, most meaningless words ever?

I mean, what the fuck do they mean?

I know what they refer to, but what do they mean? There's no etymology whatsoever as far as I can see.

They seem to be totally made up and utterly superfluous; a fiction made up by yet another over-entitled minority group so insecure in their identity they have to have their own words for everything.

They also sound silly. Every time I see the words, it makes me want to fart.

I too wonder where the word tribbing came from. Scissoring is the more appropriate term IMO. As for jilling, I guess its just to make women's masturbation sound proper and for them not to get pissed off at us men. For us it's called "jacking off", but women really can't use a male term, so "jilling off" is the proper term. I know it does sound strange, but it's better than nothing I guess.

Speaking of Jack and Jill made me think of this: Jack and Jill went up a hill both with a buck and a quarter. Jill came down with $2.50.....that fucking whore!

Jill always goes with Jack, it's the female counterpart despite Jackie being the male version of Jack. Like Jack and Jill went up the hill etc, the two go together smoothly. It's like those word association things, if someone said Jack the other person would most likely either think 'off' or 'Jill'. So while jacking off doesn't stem from the name Jack (I'm not absolutely positive but I imagine it comes from the jackhammer due to the motion and whatnot) jilling off plays off the 'Jack' in jacking and produces the feminine version 'Jilling off'. P.S. I love the 'minorities' tag on this thread, people that use uncommon words are a minority? XD
