Whether it is a musical genere, movie type, or any kind of pop culture reference, which trends do you hope and pray stay buried and never come back into existance:

For example, the whole Swing Dance craze back in the late 90's early 2000's, fine as a subculture trend but I remember at bars and small clubs drunkend guys twirling women into tables full of glasses and bottles, while Zoot Suit Riot was playing.

Swing dancing is something that is pretty good...when it's done by people that are excellent at it and are sober. Unfortunately that excludes about 99.999% of the world's population.

It's also been around for far longer than just the 90s.
