Torture only works if a person does not want information, or are trying to get a person to say something which fits their personal needs, and are not all that concerned with getting actual facts. Every quality interrogator knows this. A person under the duress of torture will say anything - anything - to get out of the pain. He will even sell out his mother, if you ask him.
Torture isn't about information. It never was.

I wish someone would explain to me why we bothered to waterboard Islamist when they probably have zero tolerance to chemical interrogation. Waterboarding didn't phase them. Understand they prepared for far worse, they were trained to withstand way harsher treatment by authoritarian governments like Egypt. Case in point, KSM was waterboarded 183 times. If waterrboarding works why did you have to do it 183 times lol
Can we use torture on Christians that we capture, and think have some info we need, too?

Depends on what you're trying to get. I jizz buckets.
Torture has never really been the end all solution to extracting information from captives. One only need to look at history(Witch Hunts, Inquisition, Reign of Terror, Persecution of the Templars, etc.) to see that it isn't anywhere near as efficient as advocates of torture think it is. This is mainly due to the fact that you can get anyone to admit to just about anything when they are being tortured. Most people would give or do anything to get the pain to stop.

Exactly the point. If they had just slipped the guy some Sodium Pentothol, and probably a much lighter dose than a westerner would need, they could have saved everyone a lot of trouble.
Torture only exists because there are many sadistic fucks out there and the vast majority of them don't wear a sign that says, "Sadistic Fuck".
I don't see any Christian "Jihadists" that have been captured. So far they all belong to to the Islamic faith.
