Even though tomato catsup is made with the sugary preservative, I don't take any chances, everything goes in the fridge except for peanut butter :hatsoff:
Mayo always gets circle filed ! Even when I go to a friends home and peep into their fridge the mayo gets circle filed ! :scream:

Mayo is so much better than ketchup with chips.
Bought ketchup is pretty sorry stuff, better to make your own and get something that actually tastes of tomatoes.

You know what folks, I always put my ketchup in the fridge & never really thought much about it. UNTIL NOW! To hell with the whole "refrigerate after opening" & damn the consequences I shall now be storing my ketchup in the cupboard!

Who said freeones was a waste of time! I thank you all!

A convert - I salute you :thumbsup::hatsoff:

I keep it in the fridge. That's my preference and you can all suck my one ball.

You are supposed to, as it says on the bottle. Anything with a lot of sugar and perishables should be refrigerated.

But there is more vinegar and salt - both preservatives that sugar. And when was the last time you saw mouldy sugar?

Hellman's spicy hot is the best...

I think I may have to experiment. I have never yet seen mouldy Tommy K and mine stays in the cupboard, so I shall have to secrete a nearly empty bottle away somewhere and see how long it takes.
