Ok, but do not blame yourself forever because things like that happen.
I blame myself for nothing,
You Miss this, and almost every post in this thread dude. I know the girl bringing my food, or serving my drinks is USUALLY trying hard to do a good job...why not reward that. Where I work they do. If you're on time, and don't miss any work in a month, you get a $25 gift card to a food store, or a restaurant. Every once in a while, I'll get an extra check for a couple hundred bucks. It's not unreasonable to reward good behavior, or service. No one said waiters, or delivery drivers spit in food if you don't tip them, but
You Missed that point too...point was, they won't if you treat them, like you want to be treated, I agree, sometimes it gets a little crazy with all of the people that you have to tip, but you can't expect something for nothing. If they paid waitresses at the level they paid most everyone else, the $20 dollar steak at that local franchise restaurant, would be $40, so if you do the math, it works out about the same.
If you're asking all of these questions because you plan on visiting this country, you better figure out where you're going, and talk to people from those areas. What I pay for goods and services in Cleveland Ohio, is WAY different then, a person from New York City, or Los Angelas California pays.
