I tried searching for @mentator75 ‘s thread again and still cannot find it via search. Should it be a capital ‘I’ (eye) or a small ‘l’ (ell)? I went with small ell.

Not only does it look like it, people naturally assume it says AI as in artificial intelligence given how frequently it is referenced in daily life these days.

What I didn't realize at the time is that you named your thread CuddlesAl when it is CuddliesAl but the concentration was on the last part.

I was commenting on how AL looks like AI when the L is typed in lower case.

And mentator is probably justified in typing it a second time cos the capitalized AL part emphasizes which letter of the alphabet it actually is.

But both threads have now become one and there are no duplicate links.

Actually, it's an I (eye).

I did a cut & paste of that last letter, pasted it into Notepad and it comes up as an uppercase I. Whatever font TheNude is using makes it look like a lowercase L.

Maybe they made a mistake, but they have it listed as an I.

Deleting first post erases the entire thread, IIRC.

Correct - although, you can get around it my moving the first post to a different thread and then deleting it. The next post then becomes the first post and therefore the thread remains in place.

Just make sure it doesn't become the first post of the thread you are moving to otherwise that one will be deleted instead!

It's a bit of a faff and more trouble than people realize and I wish there was an easier way but there's no need to worry about it in this instance cos I already took care of it.
