Should Kara Del Toro: https://www.freeones.com/forums/threads/kara-del-toro.860322/
stay in the babe section or be moved to the celeb section?
I am not familiar with her but having had a quick look my instinct would be to say celeb.

Fave Babes will typically be adult models or pornstars whereas celebs are people in the public eye like TV presenters, actresses and sportswomen etc.

In other words, those who take their kit off for a living and those who don't.

Some people kinda sit somewhere in between these two ends of the spectrum which makes it more difficult but at the end of the day it doesn't really matter I guess unless they clearly belong to one camp or the other.

Such as ex-strippers turned pop stars.. pussy with a voice. Or voice with a pussy.

Something deeper and more meaningful. Hashtag. :)

Another one that maybe should be moved to celebs and out of babes - she's a supermodel, not a porn star:

OK. Sold. There were a whole bunch of dead links in that thread so I got rid of them.

"well that's disgusting" - intro of dino crisis ps1
This one line sent me off on a massive tangent yesterday.

I never owned a PS1 but I did a console swap with a friend for a couple of weeks at the new millennium and I have a vague recollection of this game. I think it may only have been the demo that I played, however. I only really remember the bit at the start.

Anyway, I found a walkthrough of the entire game on YouTube and 20 minutes later I found myself still watching it. I even got to see/hear the line you quoted in the early stages.

I skipped through it from then on and found it mildly amusing how a dinosaur was travelling a high speed along the water right at the end of the game. Not to mention it was seemingly able to swim after them a few minutes later. It then transitioned to a cut-scene unlike no other in the game prior to then for the grand finale where the red-headed main character declares "you're extinct!". The lips on the faces didn't even move throughout the entire game up until that point. Just voices and hand gestures. Different times, though - of course.

Video should start playing in the right place:

it was such a strange time, where franchises were beginning or ending and nobody knew what would happen.

the best ideas and the worst games were still being made.

i only say that because, imho, dino had so much more going for it than the end result gave us.

the lines were too cheesy, perhaps? Jurassic Park vibes influenced too much of it? the 90s just ruined everything?

the tension, fort me, was broken when she said that line.
the rest of the game hit the mark, rarely.. but the pace was brisk and the difficulty was.. a far cry from res evil 1\2.. so I cant say it is an amazing game so much as a bunch of funny lines, choked passageways with overdized enemies and not enough ammo or brightness.
