The 150 character limit includes spaces, which you may not have accounted for.

The easiest way to simulate whether it is too long or not is to go to create a new thread without actually posting it and see if it will fit in the title field.

You can also use Microsoft Word (or equivalent) to get a word/character count or just use a free online tool which tells you how many chars are being used.
