We don't merge threads in the ID section. Usually, we delete one of the threads when they are created by the same member. However, since this guy created both threads 3½ years ago, I just closed one of the threaads.
As for why we don't merge threads in the ID section, Petra told us to stop doing that as it screwed up search results in Goggle.
