Unlike a certain other person, Dirk can come back anytime he chooses.
I'm sorry that Dirk chose to leave. But I think I understand very well why he did. I miss him because he reminds me of a fellow I interacted with a long time ago on a political board. That guy's name was Keifer (or Keefer) and he's one of the few people that I remember from that board. Unlike Dirk, Keifer was serious ALL the time and had nothing in the way of wit or a sense of humor going for him. But like Dirk, he was very intelligent and very logical in his approach. If you aren't some sort of ideologue, who just believes what he believes because that's what he believes and can't stand to be challenged, one can learn something from people like Dirk when they disagree with you. In fact, in the times that Dirk and I didn't see things the same way, I got more from that experience than when we did agree.
The best part of the AHOTY competition is always when Will has a hissyfit and demands to be taken off the ballot. It's absolutely delicious to see someone get what they deserve and not be able to squirm their way out of it.

No argument from me about this. I was the one that started this thread when he left last time, which ended up with all sorts of shenanigans going on.
I find it funny that Will says he hates Dirk so much but he was the first to post on a thread about the guy he supposedly hates.....interesting.....

See, why is it okay for you guys to jump all over Will and cry like a brat over Dirk. I miss Dirk, I liked him sincerely very much as well, but he had his ways too... I remember watching him and BlueBalls talk in their page about doing somethiong to this board back in 2010 or so. I doubt it was sinister, but what makes you popular folks right all the ways. There are literally thousands of other members here, I'm sure many (not the fake duplicates) find many of us as annoying as you lot (my friends) find Will (also my friend). If he annoys you so, shut up about it, it's annoying to everyone else too.
Or, don't, it does seem like fun chasing trolls, I sometimes still wish I knew who they all were, but I'm passed that personally on FO"s now.

I see him eye to eye on some areas, certainly not this, but he was probably chased far off context, if not... who knows. I ignore that area for the most part (politics) it's retarded. No true debate from either side, why bother. I'm sure many of the thousands of other members here would agree on that, but I still come back, I miss the old days actually, can't do shit about that though, they're gone.
